Travis Kelce has touched down in Las Vegas following his whirlwind trip to Sydney to visit girlfriend Taylor Swift.  The NFL star is reportedly back home stateside, arriving in Sin City at 8.30am PT where he is believed to reignite the Super Bowl celebrations with Patrick Mahomes, according to flight records that appear to be of the private jet Kelce took.

Kelce only landed in Sydney on Wednesday to meet up with his girlfriend and watch her perform one of her Eras Tour shows. However, the couple’s reunion was short and sweet as Kelce reportedly boarded a flight just a couple of days later to return to the US.

The private jet is said to have taken off Saturday afternoon Australian time but landed in Vegas Saturday morning local time due to the time difference – something which came in handy when Swift was making a similar mad dash of her own from Tokyo to make it to the Super Bowl.  It made a pitstop in Honolulu at around 2.20am local time to refuel before carrying on to Harry Reid International.

The three-time Super Bowl winner watched his pop superstar girlfriend perform her Eras Tour Friday night and was fully embraced by his girlfriend’s loyal group of fans at Accor Stadium.  The lovebirds also enjoyed a sweet date at Sydney Zoo during their time in the city – a move that was criticized by animal rights organization PETA.

The songstress was back performing Saturday night in Sydney but Kelce was already on the plane back to the United States.  The reason behind Kelce’s swift departure from his girlfriend is believed to be yet more celebrations of the Chiefs’ latest Super Bowl win – their third in five years.  It’s claimed the Chiefs reunion in Las Vegas has been planned ever since the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime.

Kelce is expected to link up with his teammates, including signal caller and close pal Mahomes, who has already been partying in Las Vegas this week.  The quarterback has been in Sin City since Thursday, hitting The Strip for his friend’s Bachelor party.  Mahomes led a party of 20 to Carversteak at Resorts World, where they dined in the Whiskey Room, the private dining space at the luxury steakhouse, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The Super Bowl MVP is said to have splashed out on a round of Don Julio 1942 tequila, which is listed as $58 per serving on the menu, for the table.  On Friday, the party were then seen dancing the night away at Zouk Nightclub – another familiar haunt of Mahomes’. The Chiefs had kickstarted their Super Bowl celebrations at the club before taking the party into the wee hours at XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas.

Mahomes had promised his teammates a return trip to Vegas if they won the Super Bowl as motivation ahead of the big game.  ‘This is a business trip. I told the guys that if we win, I’ll bring everyone back to Vegas to celebrate,’ Mahomes told NFL Network’s James Palmer in the buildup to the showdown. And the quarterback may now be fulfilling that promise.

It will be Kelce’s third trip to Vegas in two weeks. He was also there earlier this week to play some golf and relax with friends before flying out to meet up with Swift in Australia.  A Las Vegas DJ posted on Instagram that he had been booked by the Chiefs for an event on Friday night but Kelce did not make it in time for that.

Kelce’s roughly 15-hour journey from Sydney to Sin City is just the latest in a series long-haul flights the lovers have made to squeeze in as much time together amid their busy schedules.  Travis and Taylor have juggled their schedules to squeeze in time together with the singer attending 13 of his games this NFL season, including making a mad dash back from Tokyo to Vegas to make it to the Super Bowl.

Meanwhile, Travis took advantage of the Chiefs bye week in November to play the role of doting boyfriend and watch Taylor perform to thousands of adoring fans in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  In one clip from Friday’s show, a grinning Kelce could be seen trading friendship bracelets with the Swifties. In another video, he waved at screaming fans as he walked by.

Swift decided to give two nods to her beau in the audience through her lyrics during the show.  During the second verse of her song ‘Long Live’ off her album ‘Speak Now’, Swift sang the line ‘We are the kings and the queens / You traded your baseball cap for a crown / When they gave us our trophies / And we held them up for our town.’

At the mention of trophies, Swift held her guitar up and seemed to point out in the direction of Kelce in the audience.  That drew cheers from the packed audience at the Accor Stadium in the Olympic Park suburb of Sydney.  Later in the show, Swift had an encore of her altered ‘Karma’ lyric, where she once again sang out ‘Karma is the guy on the Chiefs’ instead of ‘guy on the screen’.  After her stint in Sydney, Swift has six shows in Singapore before she has two months off. It’s currently unclear if Kelce will be making another trip to join her in Singapore.
