In his latest Instagram post, Kelce nodded to the cold weather the team has recently been playing in

Travis Kelce is cool as ice!  The Kansas City Chiefs player, 34, posted a reel on Saturday calling his team his “icy gang” ahead of their playoffs game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, jokingly addressing the chilly conditions they Chiefs have recently been playing in.

“So icy gang 🥶.” he wrote in the caption for the video, which featured footage of the Chiefs from their recent playoffs game against the Miami Dolphins on Jan. 14.  Kelce was first seen in the Reel walking in slow motion outside on the snow-covered streets as he then let out a breath, visible in the cold air, before shouting ‘“Whooo!” to the camera.

Kelce — who is currently dating Taylor Swift — was next seen in his red Kansas kit bracing the cold on the pitch as he sported a balaclava and beanie hat. The song “Ice, Ice Baby” by Vanilla Ice then started playing as Kelce put on his helmet in the clip, followed by footage of Kelce, his Chiefs teammates and Dolphins players on the pitch during the game.

Fellow teammate Patrick Mahomes also made a cameo in one shot as he threw the ball to Kelce during the game, in which the cold breath of the players could be seen on camera.  “I’m just like screaming right now,” a voice said during the clip. “You got to keep warm, you know what I mean?” The clip ended with Kelce punching the air on the pitch, followed by a black screen with snow falling over it, featuring a “W” and the score from the game, a “Wild Card Round 26-7” win for the Chiefs.

The Chiefs have been playing in wintry weather these last couple of months, with his girlfriend Swift, 34, also braving the cold to attend most of these games in support.  Kelce is set to face the Bills on Sunday in a playoff that might bring the Chiefs to the AFC Championship game, should they win. The Chiefs are hoping to also secure a spot in the Super Bowl, which takes place on Feb. 11 in Las Vegas.  Kelce’s latest fun video comes as brother Jason Kelce made a joke about his outfit after the tight end landed in Buffalo for the game on Saturday.

Kelce sported a look that resembled his girlfriend’s outfit from the “Anti-Hero” music video as he wore a mustard yellow suit and a multicolored striped turtleneck with a cranberry-colored beanie and aviator sunglasses.  Jason said of the ensemble in a clip posted on X (formerly Twitter) of Kelce walking on the airport tarmac, “Looks like he’s auditioning for a new Wes Anderson film.”
