Patrick Mahomes is the most important player for the Kansas City Chiefs. He’s also the most important NFL player for sponsorship purposes, and Adidas hit the jackpot there. A few months ago, Mahomes and Adidas unveiled the Mahomes 2, the second iteration of his signature shoe. The Mahomes 2 is a training shoe meant for workouts, so it was no surprise to see Patrick wearing them in the gym in his most recent Instagram post.

For this batch of promotional pictures, Mahomes got photobombed by his daughter, Sterling.
Sterling seemed to be having the time of her life while hanging on from the weight bar. Sterling wasn’t wearing Patrick’s signature shoe in the picture, but they actually make a kids version of the shoe. She’ll have to grow a bit more to be able to fit them, though.
Mahomes is preparing ahead of his eighth season in the NFL. His Chiefs have won the last two Super Bowls and Mahomes is still in his prime at just 28 years old. As he gets older, those signature training shoes will play a key role in keeping his body fresh during the offseason.
