Josh Allen has taken criticism after neglecting to open girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld’s car door in Paris, but the Buffalo Bills quarterback has a good excuse: He ripped his pants. Allen posted a tweet reading: ‘My pants ripped at dinner…Didn’t want cheeks out… I love Paris.’
Viral video of the incident did not show any visible rips in Allen’s pants since they were covered by a black jacket wrapped around his waist as he walked the short distance from their vehicle to what appeared to be their hotel. Steinfeld and another women exited the vehicle shortly behind Allen before the actress and singer stopped to take a picture with a fan. No other videos or pictures of Allen and Steinfeld from inside of the hotel emerged either.
Allen is enjoying his offseason after an up-and-down performance in 2023. He finished last season with 4,306 yards, 29 touchdowns, 18 interceptions, and a 66.5 completion percentage. Furthermore, he led the Bills to the playoffs once again before they suffered a postseason defeat to the eventual Super Bowl-champion Kansas City Chiefs.
