Taylor Swift will not attend Travis Kelce’s game against the Miami Dolphins: Trouble in paradise or is there another reason?

Taylor Swift has attended four of Travis Kelce’s games with the Kansas City Chiefs and has seen him win each one. But for this Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins, which will take place in Frankfurt, Germany, the pop superstar will once again not be in the stands cheering on her partner.

According to US Weekly, a source confirmed that Swift would not attend any of Kelce’s upcoming games because she doesn’t want to be a “distraction” to him. “She knows it’s not easy when she shows up to his games. It’s a spectacle,” the source said. “She wants to support him and strike a balance while, at the same time, not be distracting to the team.”

There have been those who say the reason is because there are problems in paradise and that the relationship won’t last, but the reality is that there is a more credible reason for Taylor’s absence at the Chiefs’ games: she is about to resume her successful The Eras Tour, and she will do so in Buenos Aires.

Taylor’s most recent show was on August 24 in Mexico City, and she will resume the international part of her tour on November 8 in Buenos Aires. In fact, Swift will spend almost all of November in South America, as in addition to Buenos Aires, she will perform in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Afterward, she will take a little over two months of rest and resume in early February in Tokyo. Therefore, if the Chiefs make it to the Super Bowl (which will be played on February 11), Taylor will have to work miracles to make it to the NFL championship game on time.
Travis doesn’t play the same when she’s not there

However, it is a fact that if Taylor does not attend the game in Frankfurt, where the Chiefs will play against the Dolphins, Kelce’s statistics are likely not to be as impressive.  Numbers don’t lie: when Swift has attended Chiefs’ games, Kelce averages just over 100 yards per game (108), compared to less than half when she’s not there (46.5 yards). That’s why Kelce is reserved about whether Swift will attend Sunday’s game in Germany.

During a pre-game press conference, already on German soil, Kelce joked that mentioning Swift’s attendance affects his playing abilities. “The statistics go up and down. So I don’t want to interfere with any of that stuff. I’m going to keep that to myself,” he said.

Taylor didn’t go to the Chiefs’ game against the Broncos, and they lost. After Travis licked his wounds, Swift joined him to console him. Travis teased their meeting, which coincided with Halloween, during his Friday press conference.  “The latest update is that I saw her last week. That’s the latest update right there,” he told reporters in Germany when asked if he was falling in love with Swift. “I’m going to keep my personal relationship private.”
