Tom Brady has had a lot on his mind in recent months, from his divorce with Gisele Bundchen, his contract renewal and even the likes of his children.
Brady gave an interview to Men’s Health and talked about the closeness he has with his kids and what they did to make their father accept them and feel good together.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers player confessed that his sons don’t like sports
Brady commented that he tries to be a very close father to his children, he gets very close to them to help them in any way he can, he tries to be an understanding father and even though his children do not have the same tastes as him, he supports them in whatever they like. “Jack wants to try hard and never wants to let his dad down.”
“That’s the way I was. I would get up early on the weekends to do things with my dad. That’s why I didn’t party much. If Dad wanted to play golf, I wanted to be there with him. And if I ever missed those things, I was devastated”, said Brady to the Magazine.
He said, “When Benny came along, I thought he was going to be like Jack. So I said, ‘Come on, let’s do it.’ And he said, ‘No.’ And I said, ‘What, no, do it!’ ‘ And Gisele (Brady’s ex-wife) was telling me, ‘Do you want to understand that your son is different? “It was hard for me. I was like, ‘What do you mean? He’s a kid; he should do all these things I do.’
“The reality is that Benny likes different things. And it’s great, because now I just have to do what he wants. When we do that, we have a better time. He tells me, ‘Oh my God, Dad, you’re so funny.’ He loves to joke around, and I joke back.” “You are so special and loved. There’s no better gift than being your dad. We love you so much Benny.”
