Travis Kelce Had an Enthusiastic Response to Taylor Swift’s Version of His $850 Chiefs Jacket

Travis Kelce just commented on Taylor Swift’s latest game day fit.  On December 31, the 24-year-old pop star attended Kelce’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals wearing a slightly different version of the Chiefs letterman jacket her boyfriend wore on Christmas Day.

While both cream wool and black leather jackets were crafted by designer Jeff Hamilton, there were a few distinctions. While Kelce’s jacket featured a collar that matched the sleeves, Swift opted for a classic varsity neckline with striped details on the cuffs and trim.  Both styles are currently available on the designer’s website for $850, along with a few other options.

Clearly, Travis Kelce is a fan of the matching couple aesthetic. The NFL tight end commented on Hamilton’s Instagram roundup of the Chiefs Jacket (Taylor’s Version) with a series of fire and raised-hands emojis.  To me, the matching jackets were a perfect way to present a united front after some sports fans began unfairly blaming Swift for a string of recent Chiefs losses. It didn’t hurt that the Chiefs ended up beating the Bengals, 25 to 17.

“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” Swift said during her Time Person of the Year interview, which was published in early December. She added, “I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”

Of course, they left their fashionable Chiefs merch elsewhere to celebrate the end of 2023. In a video going around on social media, the pair can allegedly be seen sharing a romantic kiss at a New Year’s Eve party hours after the big game. In the clip, Swift appears to be wearing a silver minidress and Midnights-coded hair piece. I’m sure Kelce liked that outfit too!
