LSU Tigers star Angel Reese recently took to Instagram to announce her latest NIL venture as the 21-year-old looks to take advantage of her newfound fame. Rising to the top after winning the NCAA championship where she averaged 23.3 points and 15.6 rebounds, the Maryland native has since been on a rapid ascent with the former Terrapins star even winning the ESPY’s for being the Best Breakout Athlete of the Year.
Now entering her final year in college Angel looks to be making the most of her NIL deal as she posted a story on Instagram announcing her latest merchandise drop to her 2.6 million fans.
Posting the story with a message that read, “SEASON IS HERE!!! GET YALL JERSEY’s NOWWWWWW!!!!” Reese revealed she would be releasing a pink ‘Bayou Barbie’ jersey set with the prices being “affordable” according to the star.
With the quoted price of the Jersey being $50 dollars on her website it is safe to say that many fans will be rocking her jersey when the season rolls around in a month’s time.
LSU Tigers begin their title defense
After shocking the entire country by being the lowest ranked side to win a NCAA title since 1997, the LSU Tigers will be looking to repeat their heroics of last season as they start their title defense early next month. While the Tigers didn’t have any strong oppositions during the first 2 months of the season last term the same won’t be the case this time as they face the Buffaloes and the Hookies during the first month.
While not playing a top side during the first few months was a main reason behind LSU’s low seeding last year the tough start to the season this time will be an important test for the Tigers as they look to clinch back-to-back titles for the first time in their history.
