She couldn’t enter Wimbledon this year because of injury – but it’s still love-all for Emma Raducanu. The Daily Mail’s Richard Eden has disclosed that the tennis star, 20, enjoyed a romantic night out in Mayfair with her Harrow-educated boyfriend, Carlo Agostinelli, who was celebrating his 23rd birthday.
They were at the private members’ club loved by the royals, Oswald’s, on Friday night. Princess Beatrice and her husband, property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, were there, too. King Charles’s niece used social media to congratulate Emma on her shock win at the U.S. Open final in 2021. For last week’s outing, Emma showcased her fashion prowess in a shimmering silver dress, topped with a navy blazer and dainty black shoes. Meanwhile, Carlo opted for an all-navy ensemble to match the tennis star.

She eventually swapped her heels for a pair of cream flat shoes. Her husband looked dapper in a blue suit with a white shirt and navy trainers.
Yesterday Emma offered her 2.5million Instagram followers a glimpse at her recent picturesque holiday to Greece. In one of the images, a smiling Emma can be spotted enjoying a drink in a stylish kitchen, while another shows her looking out at the sea when sat on a rock, wearing a blue bikini top and white shorts. An unidentified person, wearing an Evian bucket hat, also features in the collection of getaway pictures.
The tennis superstar captioned the photographs: ‘Quick breather in hellas – [fire] in the belly to go now.’ It comes after Emma was recently joined by Carlo Agostinelli as she headed for a bite to eat in Whole Foods in Kensington. Looking casually cool, the star opted for box-fresh white trainers, linen shorts and a felt jumper as she tucked into some chicken from the upmarket supermarket’s salad counter.
Meanwhile, Carlo – a former Harrow head boy and son of a billionaire banker – opted for classic chic look with off-white chinos, navy loafers and a striped shirt.

Ms Raducanu is Dior’s paid ‘global fashion and beauty ambassador’. It is this connection that is believed to have brought the couple together. It is only two years ago that she was a schoolgirl unknown to the wider public completing her A-levels at school in Orpington, south-east London.
But just weeks after putting her textbooks away, she enlivened Covid-stricken Britain by reaching the final 16 at Wimbledon, before withdrawing from the tournament after seeking medical attention.

Then, just two months later, she sensationally won the US Open – and £2million – and became a national sporting superstar. Lucrative sponsorships flowed in from firms including Porsche and British Airways, as well as Dior. Since then, however, she has dropped to 128th in the world, a long fall from the top ten last year. While she recovers from three operations she is not due to play again until September.
Despite not playing in Wimbledon, she is the still the highest paid British tennis star, earning an estimated £134,000 in one week from sponsorship deals, meaning at the end of the tournament she will have bagged a cool £402,000.
