She’s already been accused of “destroying” football with her presence at rumored boyfriend Travis Kelce’s games, and now Taylor Swift is being dubbed one of “the two most hated people in the NFL.” Making an appearance at the Arrowhead Stadium for the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers game on October 22, the singer was seen dancing with Brittany Mahomes—wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes—who was holding the couple’s 11-month-old son Bronze.

The NFL posted the cute clip to X, the social network formerly known as Twitter, along with the caption: “@taylorswift13 and @BrittanyLynne are vibing at Arrowhead.” The footage has so far received 1.6 million views, but fans appeared unhappy with the NFL’s focus on the pop star and her new pal.
“The two most hated people in the nfl. Yikes,” said @1EasyMoneyPicks.
“I speak for everyone when I say, We do not care,” wrote DCloseau.
“Think most people are tired of this aren’t they?!” asked Avery R.
“OH GOD PLEASE MAKE IT STOP,” said @SouthernCharmSp, while Mad Motto commented: “I hate all of these people and I hate the NFL for being so annoying about it.”
However, other users defended Swift and Mahomes, with @Rachelroyalkfc writing: “Imagine being triggered by two women cheering on a football team and dancing…”
“Haters mad,” agreed @djgist.
“The Queen is here,” commented Fenty.
“Glad that they are enjoying the game,” said @FootballLearn1

Since she first showed up to watch Kelce’s team play against the Chicago Bears on September 24, rumors of a romance have taken over the internet—and the NFL. While some have been lapping up any news of a Swift-Kelce relationship, many football fans are unimpressed by the constant coverage of 33-year-old Grammy winner.
During an episode of the New Heights podcast on October 4—which Kelce hosts alongside his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce—the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said the NFL was “overdoing it” with Swift. “They’re overdoing it a little bit,” the 33-year-old football star said. “For sure. Especially my situation. I think they’re just trying to have fun with it.”
Like Swift, Brittany Mahomes is used to dealing with internet haters and is regularly targeted by trolls, despite the innocuous nature of her social media posts. After sharing photos of herself posing on the sidelines to Instagram on October 22, the 28-year-old was ruthlessly targeted for mixing up New York state and New Jersey in the caption, while on July 2, the soccer star was slammed for complaining about fireworks late at night on X.
The mom-of-two previously confessed that the online abuse wears her out, posting in January 2022: “I just wish I could do what I want without getting attacked every week.”
