Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is facing scrutiny over his association with former President Donald Trump after being pictured sitting next to him at a UFC event. The NFL star is making the most of his vacation during the offseason by pulling up at the UFC 299 event in Miami on Saturday night with his close pal Nick Bosa, and sat alongside them was an unexpected figure in Donald Trump.
Not only that, the football players appeared to enjoy themselves while in Trump’s company, leading many to question if he is a supporter of the former president, who is attempting to win candidacy for the 2024 presidential election.
Trump is a regular at UFC events and made the trip with his daughter, Ivanka, who was sitting next to him beside the Octagon side to catch one of the biggest fight cards of the year. Sean O’Malley made light work of Marlon Vera to successfully defend his bantamweight title, and there were some A-list celebrities in the crowd to cheer on the American mixed martial artist.
In addition to Mr Beast and Candace Owens, Burrow and San Francisco 49ers defensive end Bosa turned up for the fight and were spotted hanging out with Trump at the event. According to the NFL’s main account on X, formerly Twitter, there was “a lot of laughing from all 3”. Burrow and Bosa then posed for a photo with Trump smiling and with their thumbs up, almost in approval of the former president, which was posted to his advisor Don Scalvino’s account.

Is Joe Burrow a Donald Trump supporter?
Burrow had previously met Donald Trump back in 2019 when he and the LSU Tigers team visited the White House following their national championship win. It seems the pair have remained on good terms since then, although it is not known if he publicly supports Trump.
However, the same cannot be said for Bosa, who has been an outspoken advocate of the former president in the past. He tweeted out pro-Trump propaganda before he was picked in the 2019 NFL Draft. Since then, he has kept his political posts to a minimum. Burrow and Bosa’s friendly catch-up with Trump has not gone down well with fans, who questioned their association with the billionaire.
