Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s romance is heating up, to the point where Travis went ahead and bought himself a new home in Kansas City for the express purpose of better privacy. The price tag? Jusssst under $6 million. According to TMZ, who broke this nugget of celebrity real estate news, Travis is “getting a place that’s way bigger” and “more secluded” than his current home, which is probably for the best considering the public interest in his and Taylor’s relationship.
This new place is a “straight-up mansion” with six bedrooms and six baths, and it comes with its own waterfall, a tennis and pickleball court, and a golf course. It’s also in a gated community, which should make a big difference when it coms to privacy. Per TMZ, Travis felt his old house was “far too accessible” and was “starting to become a tourist attraction,” causing him to become uncomfortable. Which, fair enough! Plus, there was easy access for paparazzi who could pretty much park right outside. And before you ask, yes, dating Taylor “factored into” Travis’ decision.
Travis previously spoke about paparazzi during a press conference, saying “We’re learning with the paparazzi taking photos from all over the place, but at the same time, you know, it comes with it. You’ve got a lot of people that care about Taylor, and for good reason. You’ve just got to keep living and learning and enjoying the moments. At the end of the day, I’ve always been pretty good at compartmentalizing and being able to stay focused in this building.”
