Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is very active on social media. However, the absence of a person who has become key in her life lately is more than noticeable: the singer Taylor Swift.
For just over a month, Brittany has been absorbed by the overwhelming media coverage of Swift’s life and work. Photos, videos, and news stories show how close both women have become since the romance between Swift and Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs tight end, came to light.
However, neither Mahomes’ verified Instagram account nor the account that bears her name on X, formerly Twitter, have any photos of the so-called “football besties”.
Just on Saturday, Brittany had the perfect opportunity to post at least one tweet or a pic with her new friend, when the two were spotted with other celebrities at a girls’ night out in New York City.
But there was nothing; the outing with celebrities of the stature of Selena Gomez, Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid, and Sophie Turner did not receive a single mention on Brittany’s social media.
Taylor’s pact of silence?
It is well known that the “Blank Space” singer is usually very reserved with the details of her social life. What is known about her romance with Kelce is thanks to media coverage, but neither of them publishes anything about it on their social media.
The same goes for the rest of her friends. None of the girls who saw her and Brittany on Saturday posted anything about the date that caused a sensation in the mainstream media.
It can’t be any different for Mahomes, so even though she was sucked into the “Hurricane Taylor,” chances are something else is preventing her from making public any details of her goings-on with the singer.

Swift’s long absence expected
Taylor just finished the domestic leg of her successful “Eras Tour” and is about to embark on a lengthy international tour, comprising 82 concerts around the world.
The tour will begin on November 9 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and will conclude on December 8, 2024, in Vancouver, Canada.
Thus, the singer will have very little time to share with her boyfriend or her new pal. Rumors say that Kelce is already preparing to join her in one of her three presentations in Argentina, taking advantage of the Chiefs’ rest that week.
It is still unknown if Brittany and even Patrick could accompany Travis on the lightning trip to Buenos Aires, but what is certain is that the details of any backstage visit will remain a mystery.
