Taylor Swift is celebrating becoming a billionaire by expanding her $17.75 million Rhode Island mansion.  Contractors are planning on building an addition onto the pop star’s oceanfront home in Westerly’s Watch Hill neighborhood, according to a building permit obtained by the Providence Journal Tuesday.

The new wing will feature another bedroom and more bathrooms, and Swift’s existing kitchen also will be getting a makeover.

The new bedroom will be approximately 16 by 24 feet, but it was not specified how many bathrooms will be put in.  The labor and materials for the project will set Swift back an estimated $1.7 million, according to the permit issued last month.

The “Cruel Summer” singer’s 11,000-square-foot cliffside manor — dubbed High Watch or Holiday House — is located a stone’s throw away from the ritzy Ocean House resort and boasts 700 feet of private beachfront.

The current eight-bedroom, 10-bathroom escape is situated on 5.23 acres featuring manicured gardens, a breathtaking patio and a spanning swimming pool.  Swift, 35, reportedly paid for the house, which has eight cozy fireplaces, in all cash in 2013.  The estate holds a special place in her heart and even inspired her 2020 song “The Last Great American Dynasty,” which is about an American socialite who once lived there, Rebekah Harkness.
