Footage showing the aftermath of the accident involving Rashee Rice’s car in Dallas has emerged as police continue to search for the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver.  Rice, who helped the Chiefs win a second straight Super Bowl last month, is wanted by cops after a vehicle which is either registered or leased to him was involved in a major collision at 6:20pm local time Saturday.

According to the Dallas Morning News, the 23-year-old is wanted by cops in relation to the crash, which took place in northeast Dallas at around 6:20pm local time Saturday.  The report claims that a Chevrolet Corvette and a Lamborghini collided after racing in the far left lane of the street and losing control of their vehicles, according to a police spokeswoman.  The Lamborghini is believed to have crashed into the median wall and caused ‘a chain reaction collision involving four other vehicles’, before the two drivers ran from the scene.

While they do not know if he was involved in the crash, police suspect Rice was the driver of the Corvette.  Four people were left with minor injuries following the accident, two of which were taken to hospital.  And following news of the crash and the search for Rice, a CCTV video of the aftermath has surfaced on social media.

A number of motionless cars can be seen on the road after the collision, seemingly after the two drivers who caused it fled the scene.  Police also appeared to have arrived in the video, while officials can be seen assisting one of the drivers involved in the pile-up.

Police records do not indicate whether Rice is facing charges or what his level of involvement in the accident was. He also does not appear on Dallas County jail records as of 7:30 local time Sunday morning.

Dailymail.com has reached out to the Dallas County Sheriff Department for more information. N Rice grew up in the Fort Worth suburb of North Richland Hills, Texas and spent all four years of his college career in Dallas.  After committing to SMU, he became one of the most successful wide receivers in the college’s history, ranking fifth in the all-time yard charts among receivers.

The former Mustangs star was selected by Kansas City in the second round of last year’s NFL Draft, before quickly becoming a key player for the Super Bowl champions.  Last season, he ranked second in the team for receptions (79) and receiving yards (938), only trailing to Travis Kelce, and first in touchdown catches with seven.  Rice also registered 26 catches for 262 yards in the postseason as the Chiefs saw off the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers on their way to a second consecutive Super Bowl.
