One of the biggest reasons the Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl LVIII was the performance of their defense. Led by defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, his unit didn’t allow more than 27 points in a single game all season. In the playoffs, they held the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens to a combined 17 points. Chris Jones played a big role in that, as did players like Nick Bolton and Justin Reid. But L’Jarius Sneed was the player who consistently stood out and held opposing receivers down, sometimes literally.
Philadelphia Eagles players entice L’Jarius Sneed to leave Chiefs
With his rookie contract up, Sneed is going to get paid a lot in free agency. While the Chiefs would love to have him back, certain Philadelphia Eagles players are making a big plea to bring him to Philly.
REPORT: Multiple #Eagles players have been texting superstar FA CB L’Jarius Sneed recruiting him to come to Philly, per @TonyPauline.
This includes Boston Scott and Milton Williams, who are former college teammates of Sneed.

This isn’t the first time a possible move to the Eagles has been brought up. In fact, just a couple of days ago, Sneed used an emoji of an eagle on his most recent Instagram post. Plenty of fans began to speculate. Now, with the report of Eagles players directly texting Sneed, the rumors will begin to become louder.
The Eagles need a lot of help in their defensive backfield. Even with the addition of All-Pro safety Kevin Byard mid-season last year, the team struggled to stop offenses through the air. Signing Sneed would be a fantastic start to that rebuilding process.
