Patrick Mahomes is the best player in the NFL, and there aren’t that many people that would argue with that assessment these days. He won the ESPY awards for Best Male Athlete and Best NFL Player just months after claiming the regular season MVP award and his second Super Bowl championship and Super Bowl MVP.
Mahomes is simply a magician, and his skills apparently aren’t limited to the gridiron. He is seemingly not bad as a golfer, and he showed off his skills on the links recently, via NBC Sports.

Ever since Mahomes took over the starting QB spot for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2018, he has taken the game by storm, and many consider him to be the heir apparent to the now-retired Tom Brady. He already has an impressive resume at the age of 27, which means he could have at least another decade of stellar play ahead of him, not to mention many team and individual accomplishments to come.
Many, at least right now, consider the Chiefs the favorites to win their third world championship of the Mahomes era this coming season, even though they lost JuJu Smith-Schuster, their most productive wide receiver in 2022, this offseason. Travis Kelce, the best tight end in the NFL, is still around, and they have a young wideout named Kadarius Toney who Mahomes seems to think very highly of. Even if Kansas City takes a step back in 2023, they could soon return to the top since Mahomes is relatively young, but in the meantime, they will, at the very least, be very competitive.
