Randi Martin has shared a mysterious message to her Instagram Stories, with fans wondering who the cryptic post is aimed at. The mom of Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Martin regularly posts photos and videos of her football star son, his wife Brittany Mahomes, and their two children—Sterling Skye, 3, and one-year-old Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes—to her social media accounts.
However, the event planner, who uses her married name Randi Mahomes on Instagram, also updates her feed with life advice, and some posts seemingly in defense of her famous family. On Tuesday, Martin appeared to hit out at phonies, posting a graphic that reads: “Know the difference between those who stay to feed the soil and those who grab the fruit.” This isn’t the first cryptic post that Martin has shared to Instagram recently. Earlier this month, the 51-year-old shared a puzzling warning about Satan to her Stories.
“Pray for your circle,” the post said. “Because when Satan can’t touch you, he’ll test everything around you.” Newsweek has reached out to Randi Martin via email for comment. Martin did not specify who in her circle was being tested, but the mother-of-three regularly defends her famous family on social media.
Alongside Patrick, Martin also shares Jackson Mahomes with her ex-husband, former baseball star Patrick Mahomes Sr. Martin is also mother to Mia Randall, her teen daughter from another relationship.
Following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win in February 2023, TikTok influencer Jackson was accused of dominating the celebrations and stealing the spotlight from his brother. Martin appeared to defend her 23-year-old son from the trolls, posting a meme that read: “Your character will outweigh any lie told about you. Those that know you, know you.”
In the caption, Randi added: “So true.. unless someone wants to believe the lie….”  Before Jackson was accused of sexual assault in February 2023, Martin again took to social media.
Jackson was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one misdemeanor count of battery, after a Kansas City bar owner claimed the social media star “forcibly kissed me out of nowhere.”
He was also accused of pushing a server, with a clip of the alleged incident going viral. Jackson denied the accusations. The sexual battery charges were dismissed in January, but the misdemeanor count of battery remains. A day before news of her son’s arrest broke in March 2023, Martin said on X, formerly Twitter: “The devil wouldn’t be attacking so hard if there wasn’t something Holy inside of you. Thieves don’t break into empty houses.. just a reminder all, Jesus wins.”
Martin has also spoken out on behalf of her daughter-in-law, Brittany Mahomes. Taylor Swift fans slammed the pop star in November, after she was spotted watching the Chiefs from a V.I.P. box alongside Brittany and Jackson Mahomes. Swifties blasted the Grammy winner for spending time with Jackson following the sexual assault allegations, while Brittany has faced backlash for defending her brother-in-law online.
Once again going into mama bear mode, Martin hit out at the trolls. “I will never understand bullies and liars.. it’s honestly not ok,” she wrote on X, telling her 98,000 followers to “stay blessed.
