After Mahomes couple shared a beautiful image of her baby daughter’s little foot on social media while announcing her name, Patrick Mahomes’s mother, Randi Mahomes, re-shared the story with excitement. She said, “Grandi x3,” along with the snap shared by the quarterback and his wife.
But on Tuesday, Randi Mahomes was even more delighted to witness a tribute from Kansas City. Sharing the same on her official Instagram account as a story, Randi wrote, “Love KC (red heart emoji) Thank you @unionstationkc The lights are perfectly “Golden.” Actually, Kansas City did a celebratory lighting on January 14 at Union Station, to give a beautiful tribute to Mahomes’s couple on their third baby welcoming. They started this honor a day after Brittany and Patrick Mahomes announced their new daughter’s birth on January 12.
However, this isn’t the first time KC showed their love to the Mahomes couple. According to their post shared, it also noted: “It’s a three-peat! Congratulations, Brittany and Patrick! After celebratory lightings in February 2021 for baby Sterling and November 2022 for Patrick “Bronze” Lavon, tonight Union Station is bathed in gold as we join the KC community in congratulating @brittanylynne and @patrickmahomes on the arrival of their third child, Golden Raye Mahomes.” So, that means the tradition of tributing their stars has been going on since Sterling’s birth. Now, this gesture has been appreciated by the entire Chiefs community, including Brittany Mahomes.
Patrick Mahomes’s wife Brittany went emotional on KC love!
After Randi Mahomes responded to KC Union Station park’s emotional gesture, Patrick Mahomes’s wife, Brittany Mahomes, too chimed in showing her love for the city. She re-shared the KC post and wrote, “All my babies,” along with a crying emoji and a drawn heart-shape. This sweet gesture indeed made the day for Brittany and Patrick Mahomes’s family, as the day of Golden’s birth did. But have you wondered what the Chiefs’s quarterback was doing at the time of the baby’s delivery?
Well, here’s what he was busy at – We all know the Chiefs are into the aim of 3-peat this season. So, although the professional call is quite busy for him, him being a support with Brittany was crucial too. Hence, while speaking to the media, Patrick Mahomes revealed how he managed to balance the practice as well as the excitement of his new baby. The 3x Super Bowl champ said, “I’m just supporting, you know. Brittany crushed it. It’s been cool to welcome another baby girl in our family and see how my other kids react to her.”
In addition, he also revealed that he managed to sneak out of playoff practice for some time to visit his wife in the hospital. Not only that! Before the childbirth, Mahomes was watching the playoff games on TV, as according to him, “Brittany was kind enough to let us watch football as she was getting ready to give birth to our second daughter….I was glad I was able to be there and support in the best way I can.” Patrick Mahomes is now father of three children – Sterling, Bronze and Golden.
