Dec. 25, 1999: A four-year-old Patrick Mahomes enjoyed a quiet Christmas evening. Dressed in red Christmas pajamas, he sang ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’—an ode to the reindeer who guided Santa’s sleigh. Sure, it wasn’t ‘The Voice’-worthy performance, but his momma filmed him, making it a core memory for the Mahomes. After all, home videos are forever. Much has changed since then. Pat is now 29 and sings different tunes on the holiday.
Pacheco! Hopkins! White 80…
On, Kelce! JuJu and Watson!
This Christmas, Mahomes and the Chiefs were busy clashing with the Steelers. They won 29-10, locked down the top seed in the AFC, and a first-round bye. This would have been enough to make mom Randi Mahomes happy, right? Well, yes, but not quite.
Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes celebrated an early Christmas owing to his NFL duties and while he was busy, Randi put up a message that may have signaled her dissatisfaction at not having the entire family together on Christmas. What did she say? Well, she took to X and wrote, “I’m thinking my letter to Santa got lost in the mail darn-it… Merry Christmas Eve.”
Her post on X left fans speculating about what could be the matter. While Randi didn’t share anything else after this post, a fan teased the mom of three, stating, “Merry Christmas Eve! You asked for another Super Bowl win, right? (smile emoji).” Let us not forget that something similar happened last year.

Mahomes was away playing a Christmas day game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Unfortunately, the Chiefs lost 14-20. It was a frustrating game for the Chiefs. They allowed two defensive TDs and Harrison Butker also missed a chip-shot field goal. Additionally, penalties and dropped passes were a big problem.
“They played a better game than we did today,” said Chiefs coach Andy Reid. “On offense, we struggled. That’s my responsibility to make sure we put the guys in the right position to make plays, and that didn’t happen the way we wanted it to. I take full responsibility for the way we played offensively there.” But fret not! The Chiefs not only won the 2024 Christmas game, but Mahomes made sure to celebrate the holiday with his family.
Patrick Mahomes dropped sweet family pictures on social media!
The Chiefs QB knew he would miss out on the festive celebrations as he had a game lined up, but he made sure not to miss out on the family photo. Before heading to Pittsburgh, Patrick Mahomes enjoyed the festive spirit. Mahomes and his sweetheart Brittany took their little kids, Sterling and Bronze, to meet Santa and got adorable family pictures clicked. The couple did a similar photoshoot last Christmas as well. It seems to have become a family tradition.
In a joint post shared by Mr. and Mrs. Mahomes a few days ago, they were seen sitting on a sofa with their kids, with a Christmas tree in the background to match the festive vibes. The cherry on top was Santa cutely sneaking behind them in the photos. Little Sterling was holding a gift while sitting on her daddy’s lap.
In one of the pictures, you can see Sterling’s little brother Bronze flipping through the pages of a book. Honestly, these sweet family pictures will make you go ‘Awww.’ Both Brittany and Patrick flashed wide smiles for this year’s Christmas photos. A few days earlier, Mom Randi also shared an adorable picture with the family, featuring her younger kids, Jackson and Mia, while Patrick had already reached Pittsburgh ahead of the Chiefs vs. Steelers game.
