LSU star Angel Reese has always kept that competitive spirit and an attitude that sometimes divides the public. Her fans absolutely love her but the fans of rival teams tend to go after her on social media. Recently, she wanted to issue a warning to all her haters and remind them that she feeds off the negative energy directed towards her. During an interview on ESPN, here is what Angel Reese said: “I want people to underestimate me. I’m telling you, I have everything bookmarked for the right moment when everything just falls right into my hands. Yeah, my stats have gone down maybe four to five points because I’m on a way better team this year. But I’m still averaging a double-double every game.”
She continued: “I think people don’t realize I can do 10,000 things and still be good at all of them. And I can’t wait till just everything just falls right into place. Growing up and from Baltimore, that’s what we do there. That’s why I’m always so competitive, have a really competitive edge. I know where I come from, back to my high school, just going into a rougher area which is Baltimore and having to kind of get it out the mud and having a chip on my shoulder. I work out. People think I don’t. People think that I’m just living this celebrity life, that I don’t do anything. No. I’m finding a gym wherever I’m going. So, there’s no off time. I wouldn’t have made this team just walking in here.”

Angel Reese is destined to play in the WNBA
hat same competitive spirit is often shown from other major super stars from past eras and Agel Reese s a great representative of this spirit. Her words ring similar to those once said by greats like Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Cristiano Ronaldo, Tom Brady, Tiger Woods, and the list goes on. One of these legends who was also very vocal in his prime is Shaquille O’Neal, who is currently one of her mentors. If she continues playing at this level at LSU, there is no reason to think she won’t make it to the WNBA when her college career is over. Agel Reese was more than likely made for greatness.
