Kate Middleton continues to get back to full strength after completing her course of chemotherapy to combat the cancer disease she had anonymously been fighting for most of 2024, with experts “hopeful” of her current trajectory.

The Princess of Wales shocked the world on March 22 when she announced her diagnosis and pleaded with the public to give her and her family privacy following intense speculation about the nature of her sickness and her health.

Then on Sunday, September 9 she announced she had finished her battle against the disease and would begin to resume her public-facing duties after brief cameos at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships men’s singles final and the Trooping the Flag ceremony.

Now the 42-year-old is tipped to plan and attend the Christmas Carol Concert in what was the future-Queen Consort’s second official meeting of the calendar year and the second in the space of one week.  “It is yet another indication that Kate is very much on the mend,” a royal expert called Phil Dampier said, as per Geo News. “The fact that she is aiming to organize and be at her carol service is obviously great news.

“Clearly her doctors have given her the go-ahead for her to slowly resume duties and she is starting off with some relatively minor ones, some things that aren’t too taxing. The fact that she is planning ahead to more major ones is obviously a very good sign.”

When might the public next see Middleton?

The back end of 2024 sees multiple opportunities for the British public and fans of the Royal Family to spot the mother-of-three and wife of Prince William as she begins her renaissance following her battle.  There are opportunities for Remembrance Sunday (November 10) and Remembrance Day (November 11) to commemorate the lives lost during the First World War and the Second World War, as well as other conflicts.

Whilst Christmas time could also see her celebrate the festivities with the public and her subjects and another expert, Richard Fitzwilliams, tips this to be the best bet to spot the Princess.  “That Catherine has attended another meeting at Windsor so soon after the last bodes well for the likelihood of her doing more in the weeks ahead,” Fitzwilliam added, as per Geo News. “She made it clear in the last video message that the going was tough.

“But as she was over chemotherapy, she was hoping to do more, though naturally being ‘cancer-free’ was her priority. There is therefore an extremely good chance that she will attend Remembrance Day at the Cenotaph.  “And her Together at Christmas Concert will, almost certainly, have a very special cachet with her being present. It does look extremely hopeful.”
