Kansas City Chiefs Owner’s Wife Tavia Hunt Sends Powerful Message Heading Into 2025 New Year

The Kansas City Chiefs might be the happiest campers in the NFL right now. Despite the constant doubt that surrounds them, the team is 15-1 and in the midst of a potential three-peat after running away with back-to-back Super Bowls.  Before the Chiefs go on a potentially history-making postseason run, Tavia Hunt had a beautiful message as the calendar turned to 2025. Married to Chiefs owner Clark Hunt for over 30 years, the couple looked adorable in the pictures Tavia posted alongside her message on Instagram.

Tavia Hunt’s Powerful Message

A political science graduate, Tavia Hunt is a former Miss Missouri Teen USA and Miss Kansas USA. Currently, she holds the position of Director for the Chiefs Woman’s Organization, a charity group that encompasses the wives and girlfriends of the team’s players to support local communities.  Her role as director certainly helps explain the beautiful soliloquy she had on Instagram. Speaking on her faith and its importance, Hunt was direct, compassionate, and powerful with her stance. Here’s the entire message:

“Happy New Year! Grateful for the memories and blessings of the past year. As we step into 2025, let’s carry hearts full of gratitude, trusting in God’s faithfulness and guidance. Never doubt in the dark what God told you in the light. Hold on to His promises and move forward with great HOPE in the Lord—He’s with us every step of the way! Here’s to love, joy, and purpose in 2025!”

But Tavia wasn’t just done there. Putting her money where her mouth is, she also shared resources that helped her on her journey and kept her on track.  These included books like The Bible, Good Energy by Dr. Casey Means, Your Story Has a Villain by Jonathan Pokluda, Get Out of Your Head by Jennie Allen, Gifts and Gratitudes by Ann Voskamp, and Grace & Glory by Louie Giglio.

But it didn’t just end with books; Hunt also recommended Read the Bible in a Year: The Bible Recap, alongside online sermons like those by Harris Creek, Lakepointe Church, Watermark, Passion City, and Life Church.  Alongside the beautiful and helpful message, Hunt was all smiles as she posed alongside her husband Clark, and their children, Gracie, Ava, and Knobel, and their dog, Yeti. The family looked cheerful as ever, with their team in the midst of a dynastic run unlike any other.
