Jason & Kylie Kelce’s daughter shocks family by announcing her first crush

JASON & FAMILY

The Kelce household had an unexpected holiday moment.  As Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie, shared an amusing story about their 3-year-old daughter, Elliotte, on a festive episode of the New Heights podcast.

‘Love Actually’ & the Kelces

Kylie, who is expecting the couple’s fourth child, revealed that Elliotte developed her first movie crush after watching the final scenes of Love Actually, the beloved Christmas rom-com.  “The cutest thing about watching was that Ellie was blushing at the end of the movie,”Kylie recalled.

“The next day, she asked me, ‘Mom, that cute boy who played the drums, will you show me a picture of him?'” Kylie obliged, Googling Thomas Brodie-Sangster’s character, Sam, to share a photo, which left Elliotte giggling.

Jason, the retired Philadelphia Eagles star, chimed in with a laugh, saying his daughter was “feeling her some Sam.”  Kylie added that their older daughter, Wyatt, 5, also got a kick out of the moment, as Wyatt “loves every boy that comes on TV.”  Despite Elliotte’s new crush, Kylie clarified that the children only saw select scenes from the 2003 classic, as they skipped over some of the film’s more mature content.

“They almost saw the boobs, but I warned Jason,” she joked, adding that he quickly fast-forwarded.  While Kylie enjoyed Love Actually, calling its intertwined stories “helpful” for her ADHD, Jason had a much harsher review.  “It might be the worst Christmas movie I’ve ever seen,” he said, questioning its holiday spirit.

Jason’s brother, Travis Kelce, agreed, admitting he “didn’t feel Christmas at all” during the movie.  With three kids and a fourth on the way, the Kelce family’s holidays are likely filled with moments like these-where even a classic movie can spark giggles and sweet family memories.  The Kelces had a double reason to celebrate on Christmas as Travis and the Chiefs clinched first place in the AFC seeding heading into the NFL Playoffs next month.
