While former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce is in Buffalo to support his younger brother Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs, it did not stop him partaking in pregame festivities with Bills fans.  A video showed the recently retired Kelce enjoying a tailgate with fans outside Highmark Stadium before Sunday’s divisional playoff game.

Kelce is seen drinking beer out of what appears to be a bowling ball as fans in blue and red cheered on loudly. He then proceeds to drop the ball before giving out high fives and handshakes to the gracious hosts.  ‘Jason Kelce: Man of the People,’ the Kelce brothers’ New Heights podcast captioned while sharing the clip on X.

Kelce announced his retirement last week after the Eagles were unexpectedly eliminated by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild card round. The 32-9 upset in the postseason capped off a dreadful late-season skid.

After starting with a 10-1 record, the Eagles lost five of their last six games. Philadelphia’s elimination was foreshadowed by a 27-10 loss to the struggling New York Giants in their season finale.  A week after his retirement, Jason is in Buffalo to support Travis and is expected to meet his girlfriend Taylor Swift for the first time. The two had a chance to meet when the Eagles and Chiefs faced off in November. However, the 12-time Grammy winner was on tour as the Kelces faced off for the final time.

The Chiefs’ title defense continues against the Bills after overcoming the Miami Dolphins in the wild card round. Sunday’s highly-anticipated game is quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ first playoff game on the road, excluding Super Bowls.  Kansas City finished their regular season with a 11-6 record to top the AFC West. Meanwhile, their east coast counterparts in Buffalo shared the same record.

The Bills finished their season on a five-game win streak that started with a win over Kansas City early in December. They then started the playoffs with a wild card win over Pittsburgh to advance.  The winner of Sunday’s game will take on the top-seeded Baltimore Ravens for the AFC title next weekend.
