Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is getting a lot of love from the internet for the short but sweet speech he made at the Eagles Women’s Football Festival on Sunday. “Women are thrusted into positions to have to overcome this, overcome that,” Hurts said. “And they always do.. Yet they lack the respect they deserve.. We all know the woman is the rock of everything.”

The Eagles’ annual event is specifically for women of all ages and allows them to create memories with current and former Eagles players. This year’s event included a painting class with Eagles Hall of Fame offensive tackle Tra Thomas and X’s and O’s classroom session with players, Birds Bingo, and some on-field practice drills.
Jalen Hurts Has an All-Female Management Team
Hurts has always been a strong advocate for women and is known for having an all-female management team. His management team is led by his agent Nicole Lynn of Klutch Sports Group.
Eagles QB Jalen Hurts turned heads by building an all-female management team.
Hurts told @SInow that people had doubts — but he knew he was surrounding himself with the best of the best.

Meanwhile, Chantal Romain and Shakeemah Simmons-Winter work on the Communications side with Rachel Everett in charge of Marketing relations, and Jenna Malphrus assisting any management issues.
What drew Hurts to signing with Lynn was that he saw himself in her.
Despite being a CFB national champion, many doubted Hurts ahead of the 2020 NFL Draft and Lynn could relate to that in her own way. “That turns me up,” Hurts told Sports Illustrated in 2022. “It lights a fire in me. It does something to me, because I know I’ll prove you wrong. But I saw that same fire in Nicole. She said, ‘I’m a woman. People are going to overlook me. People are going to doubt me. They’re not going to give me the due respect. But I’m overcoming it, just like you do.’ And that’s where we really hit it off. We had the same vision.”
Special thanks to Hurts, Lynn became the first black woman to represent a quarterback in the Super Bowl in 2022. “I admire anyone who puts their head down and works for what they want. And I know women who do that daily, but they don’t get the same praise as men—they don’t get the praise that they deserve,” Hurts said. “I’ve seen that now with tons of different women in my life that are hustlers. Athletes, coaches, women in the business world of sports. I see it all the time. And they deserve their flowers too. So if me saying something about it brings more attention to it, then I’m all for that.”
