Jalen Hurts cemented his name in the NFL’s history books after leading the Philadelphia Eagles to a 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.  Hurts capped off the game with two touchdowns and 221 yards, completing 17-of-22 pass attempts. He also added one touchdown and 72 yards on the ground, serving as the team’s leading rusher.

Hours before Sunday’s game, Spotrac posted on X that Hurts would get a raise of $500,000 per season if the Eagles won the Super Bowl due to an incentive in his contract. Hurts has four years remaining on his current deal, worth $195 million.
