Travis Kelce has been spotted without Taylor Swift in Kansas City, as he went to grab a sandwich with a friend, although many are wondering if the pop star will cheer on her NFL beau at the Chiefs-Chargers game on Sunday. The 34-year-old Kelce was seen behind the wheel of his black and white Hummer on Saturday, driving his pal to Firehouse Subs, in photos exclusive to DailyMail.com.
The pair were even seen laughing while en route to the popular US restaurant chain, which specializes in making sandwiches, sub sandwiches, salads and more. It’s yet to be known what the two-time Super Bowl champion and his friend ordered. The Chiefs tight end, however, previously revealed that he nearly always eats French Toast, also known as ‘Eggy Bread’ in the UK, on the mornings of gamedays.
He and Swift were last seen together in New York on October 15, as they enjoyed an evening out at the Waverly Inn restaurant. They had been the talk of the Big Apple the previous night as they dined out at A-list hotspot, Nobu, before making surprise cameos on Saturday Night Live with Kelce even featuring in a skit that poked fun at the NFL mania surrounding their relationship.

They later partied into the early hours of the morning of October 15 at the SNL season premiere afterparty at Catch NYC – a glamorous steakhouse frequented by celebrities like David Beckham and the Jenners. Swift has attended three of her new partner’s games this season: a 19-8 win against the Denver Broncos on October 12; a 23-20 victory against the Jets in New York on October 1; and a 41-10 win over the Chicago Bears in September.
What’s more, is that Kelce and Swift’s romance provided the Chiefs with the biggest increase in social media growth this season, above any other NFL team. Kansas City has 548,8400 new followers since last month, when Kelce declared on his podcast that he’s courting the ‘You Belong with Me’ singer.

Earlier this week, a source close to Swift explained that the songstress ‘trusts Kelce’s intentions’ because he ‘has his own career and money’ from his own career and on top of that, understands the pressures that come with fame. For his part, Kelce has admitted that he is ‘protective’ of Swift when they’re out and about and ‘always knows where the exits’ are.
The tight end also closed in on a deal Tuesday night to purchase a $6million mansion in Kansas City in search of more privacy amid his high-profile romance with the pop superstar, 33, according to a report from TMZ. Kelce was also said to feel that his former humble abode wasn’t befitting of someone dating a 12-time Grammy Award winner and decided to step it up to ease feeling ‘self-conscious’.
And photos of his new mansion showed that certainly lives up to expectations in both grandeur and seclusion. The property, built in 1998, boasts six bedrooms, six baths, and sprawls across 17,000 sq ft.
It’s also been widely believed that the eight-time Pro Bowler is ‘all in’ to join Swift on her South America tour next month, despite that being right in the thick of this year’s football season. Kelce also offered some tips on how fans can create costumes resembling himself and his rumored girlfriend for Halloween. He should be available for Sunday’s game in Kansas City, bar injury.
