Travis Kelce was spotted going it alone in Kansas City as he and superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift gear up for a long-distance relationship ahead of their upcoming gigs overseas. The Chiefs tight end was seen riding solo in his black Cadillac Escalade on Wednesday hours after the singer flew out of Missouri to prepare for her Latin American tour next week, exclusive DailyMail.com photos show.
Dressed in a black puffer jacket, black sweat pants, and sneakers, Kelce, 34, cut a casual but forlorn figure as he pulled into a local gas station to refuel. The NFL star has been widely photographed stepping out with his new squeeze in recent weeks, but will now have to get used to being away from his girlfriend who is set to perform nine shows across Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil for the next four weeks.

The brief outing came after the athlete had spent two days holed up in his love nest with Swift, who flew over 1,000 miles to be by her man’s side following his team’s loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday. The pair, who celebrated Halloween together, appeared to be squeezing in some quality time as a couple before Kelce flew out to Frankfurt, Germany, where he and the Kansas City Chiefs are currently training for their game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
Swift, meanwhile, is set to embark on the South American leg of her Eras tour which kicks off in Buenos Aires, Argentina on November 9. On Wednesday DailyMail.com revealed the NFL star even cordoned off his property with police crime scene tape to keep trick-or-treaters away while his girlfriend was in town. A security guard outside the property was even heard telling children ‘nobody’s home today.’
But the families weren’t buying it, especially after lights turned on inside the $1million Kansas City home. ‘Liars,’ one mother told DailyMail.com as her pre-teen daughter in a pink Barbie jacket sniffed that she didn’t get to hit up the Chiefs star and his pop princess girlfriend for candy. ‘Why is it blocked off over there mom?’ another young devil asked. ‘They’re not handing out candy, you believe that?’ the mom snipped. ‘Well, we know they’re lying. Swifty is here.’
A security officer sat in his sedan parked in the driveway, as tape attached to his side view mirror stretched over the sidewalk and around trees lining the property. He shooed away the families strolling up and down the residential block knocking on doors. Taylor left Kansas City on Wednesday morning and was seen boarding her private jet, leaving behind her new beau.
The pop star had jetted to Kansas City on her private jet on Monday to comfort the tight end after his team’s loss to the Broncos in Denver. She arrived at noon, pulling into his driveway with a security motorcade, and remained there, sheltered from the cold as the sun set on Halloween. Kelce last week teased that he was going to host a Halloween dinner gathering, but the early evening at least appeared to a romantic evening for two, with guards making sure there would be no interruptions.
Kelce has been on a rare run of form with Swift watching him from the stands. The Chiefs won all four of the games that she attended.  But that winning streak ended Sunday when the Chiefs fell to a surprise 24-9 defeat by the Broncos in Colorado. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw two interceptions and Kelce had just 58 receiving yards from six catches – and no touchdowns. The Broncos leaned into the Kelce-Swift love story and trolled the tight end by blaring Swift’s song Shake It Off through the stadium speakers at the end of the game.
On social media, viewers enjoyed the joke, with one commenting: ‘Top tier trolling’, while another added: ‘This is the best thing I’ve seen all day.’ Kelce’s whirlwind romance with the pop superstar has dominated headlines over the past month – but the pair will have to get used to the distance soon with Taylor set to kick off the international leg of her Eras tour in Buenos Aires, Argentina, next month.
