Exciting Taylor Swift News Announced After Awards Haul

Taylor Swift is off to a dominant start to the year and she doesn’t even have any new music to provide for fans – at least not yet.

Earlier this year she cleaned up at the iHeartRadio Music awards show when she won Artist of the Year, Pop Album of the Year for The Tortured Poets Department, Favorite Tour Tradition for her Eras Tour surprise songs, Best Lyrics and Best Music Video for “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone, Favorite Tour Style and Favorite On Screen for her October 2023 Eras Tour film.

The 14-time Grammy winner didn’t just dominate the iHeartRadio Music awards though. Just last month American Music Awards revealed its nominees where Swift racked up six nominations.

Swift’s nominations are for: Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (The Tortured Poets Department), Collaboration of the Year (“Fortnight” featuring Post Malone), Favorite Touring Artist, Favorite Female Pop Artist, and Favorite Pop Album (The Tortured Poets Department).

Fast forward just over a week later and Swift is back in the headlines after setting another historic mark. A Swiftie account noted the billionaire musician surpassed six billion streams on Spotify, the most of any female artist – despite not having any new music out.

Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end boyfriend Travis Kelce have mostly been laying low since her Eras Tour and the 2024 NFL season came to a close.

“They have been traveling nonstop and very much enjoy it,” a source told People. “They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It’s a special time for them…They value the same things. Right now, the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight.”
