The Philadelphia Eagles’ faithful legend has made a jaw-dropping declaration of allegiance. And his comment was to the team that made him a household name. This Eagles icon has shockingly defected to the side of their longtime nemesis, Andy Reid, leaving fans stunned and wondering what could have prompted such a drastic change of opinion. The Eagles’ former RB snubbed the home team to make a strong comment on the Chiefs and Reid.

LeSean McCoy, former Eagles star, chatted with his old colleagues and gushed about Andy Reid on The Facility. He said, “The Chiefs look different, right? I know how hard it is to be good and consistent every single year. And they [Chiefs] are at that. The AFC Championship game was the Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes ever saw the worst.” The two-time Super Bowl winner star couldn’t hold him back to further added, “And we talk about the back-to-back. And it’s like a 3-peat and who gonna stop them? Nobody can. I’m an Eagle and all but I want Andy Reid to get a 3-peat. He’s the best coach of all time.”

We can’t resolve the NFL’s GOAT debate without mentioning Andy Reid. And do you know the Chiefs‘ 66-year-old head coach has already started chasing the top spot as the most NFL wins? Yeah, you read that right! With a total of 296 victories, Reid is at the third position (Bill Belichick at 2nd) in the history of the NFL, whereas Don Shula is at the top with 347 total victories. Pretty impressive, right? And as there is no chance of Belichick coming to the NFL as a head coach, Reid can overtake Shula in a couple of years.

Currently in the season, as we all know, the Chiefs have clinched their 15th victory, losing only to the Buffalo Bills, against whom the Chiefs have never lost in the playoffs. Great thing! But this all conversation came into the picture when LeSean McCoy and colleagues were discussing the Washington Commanders’ vs Philadelphia Eagles game. And McCoy, a former Eagle himself, could throw some light on the current issue going on between Zach Ertz and the Eagles’ HC Nick Sirianni.

The heated apology drama between Nick Sirianni and Zach Ertz

The Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni is dealing with a drama of his own, forced to issue a public apology after a heated altercation with Commanders tight end Zach Ertz that has raised questions about the team’s locker room dynamics and Sirianni’s leadership. The recent game between the Eagles and Commanders got wild when the Commanders, who were losing, pulled off a comeback and beat the Eagles 36-33. After the game, during the usual handshakes, Zach Ertz (the Commanders’ tight end) went up to the Eagles’ head coach like he was gonna shake his hand but switched it up last minute with just a high five. That move got Sirianni fired up, and he ended up making a comment about Ertz.

Sirianni straight-up called out Ertz for his role in the Commanders’ win—right to his face in their locker room. Things got tense, but security chief Dom DiSandro stepped in to separate them. Jeff McLane from The Inquirer says no one knows exactly what went down between the former Eagles player and the Eagles’ head coach. Sirianni reportedly apologized for some harsh comments after the game, but it’s looking like the beef isn’t squashed.

During a recent chat with the media, Sirianni took a more diplomatic approach. He said, “Zach’s an all-time Eagle, and I was really honored to be around him. He’s still playing at a high level at this stage in his career. It was tough when he moved on, and we did as an organization, because I really valued Zach as a person and a player. I enjoyed the time I had with him.” Sounds nice, right? But the reality seems different—there’s still some tension lingering.
