Maybe this is the boost the Eagles need after they lost five of their final six regular-season games before falling in the NFC Wild Card Round to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It was quite a disappointing finish to the season after they looked like Super Bowl contenders with a 10-1 start. Philadelphia is still just one season removed from its Super Bowl appearance when Hurts accounted for 374 yards and four touchdowns in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
This will be an important season for the quarterback and franchise as the Eagles look to put last season behind them and once again establish themselves as legitimate Lombardi Trophy contenders. And he might have a brand-new look when he takes the field for that important season in the fall if he decides to remain clean-shaven.
