On Wednesday night, the Dallas Wings will welcome the Chicago Sky onto their home court for their first game of the WNBA regular season. This particular season opener is getting a lot of buzz due to the arrival of No. 7 overall pick Angel Reese. All eyes will be on Reese at opening tip, but the Wings are just as excited to get their season going.
Earlier today, Dallas head coach Latricia Trammell took to social media with a message for Wings fans.   “GAME DAY! FIRE UP!! Wings v Sky,” she wrote on X.

This is Trammell’s second season as a head coach in the WNBA. Before signing on prior to the 2023 season, she served as an assistant for the Los Angeles Sparks since 2019. In her first year with the Wings, Trammell led the team to a 22-18 regular-season record and a Western Conference Semifinals exit.
Tonight’s game against Reese and the Sky will tipoff at 8 p.m. ET in Dallas.
