Buffalo Bills fans were left heartbroken after Sunday’s AFC Divisional Round loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, but some of them crossed the line by throwing snowballs at Patrick Mahomes and other Chiefs players after the game ended. Video showed Mahomes dodging snowballs as he ran off the field at Highmark Stadium. While he found humor in the situation and smiled as the snowballs rained down on him, one of his teammates didn’t take it so lightly.

Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquill took to social media and called out Bills fans for their actions after the game:
I caught the snowball. If it didn’t break in my hand, it was getting launched right back at him.
We’d beat them in a snowball fight too.
Truth is, my four year old throws a meaner snowball than #BillsMafia .#ChiefsKingdom 🔥🔥🔥 https://t.co/5es3a0Nx4A

Tranquill wasn’t alone in his annoyance, as Chiefs cornerback Jaylen Watson also sarcastically called Bills fans “very classy” for how they handled the loss.
Never got hit wit so many snowballs in my life very classy GG tho🖤🎢

It’s understandable that the mood in Buffalo was somber after Tyler Bass missed a 44-yard field goal that would’ve tied the game and potentially forced overtime. However, throwing snowballs at opposing players made Bills fans look like sore losers. Buffalo will go back to the drawing board to try to figure out how to avoid more heartbreak next season.
