Kansas City Chiefs’ stars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes were among the A-listers lending their star power to the 15th annual Big Slick Weekend charity fundraiser in Kansas City. This event, known for its humor and camaraderie, benefits Children’s Mercy Hospital.
Social media buzzed with glimpses of the fun-filled event. Videos showed Kelce and Mahomes in high spirits throughout the night. They joined the event’s hilarious hosts – Jason Sudeikis, Paul Rudd, Eric Stonestreet, Heidi Gardner, and Rob Riggle – onstage, even helping to auction off game-worn jerseys for a whopping $250,000.
Mahomes upped the fundraising ante by personally throwing signed footballs into the crowd for $15,000 donations each. During a skit, Sudeikis, ever the comedian, playfully prodded Kelce about his relationship with singer Taylor Swift, leaving the audience in stitches.
“Hey Travis, real talk OK, just the guys here …Hey … when are you going to make an honest woman out of her?,” Sudeikis joked. Another video captured Kelce’s lighter side as he playfully knocked over a table while running through the cheering crowd.
