Ahead of Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, star quarterback Patrick Mahomes revealed his youngest daughter, Golden, would be attending the game. Golden Raye, who was born on Jan. 12, 2025, was likely the youngest one in the building at just three weeks old. Despite her young age, Mahomes said his youngest daughter was giving the family plenty of sleep ahead of the big game.
“She’s been amazing, she’s been sleeping well. Mom’s been extremely happy, and I’m excited for her to be able to come,” he told reporters at the time. “I think it’ll be her first football game at the Super Bowl, and I hope that we get her a win.”
Fast forward nearly two weeks and Golden is now five weeks old, but it’s her older sister, Sterling, who is stealing the spotlight – well, kind of. On Thursday night Brittany Mahomes penned a birthday post for Sterling, who turned four years old.
“Sterling Skye is 4! This sweetest, most kind little girl ever! I thank god everyday for choosing me to be your mom, you have taught me so much about life and what matters most and I truly am so thankful you made me a mama!,” she said in the post on Instagram. “You are the best big sister to Golden & Bronze and they are so lucky to have you guiding them🥹 your Mom and Dad love you beyond and more🤍 keep being you baby girl!!!”
Brittany’s post included plenty of photos of Sterling through the years, but also provided a glimpse at Golden that not many fans have seen. She previously posted a photo of Golden’s feet when she was first born, but otherwise hasn’t posted about the youngest member of the family – until now. One photo showed Sterling hugging baby Golden who was set somewhat out of the frame.
