Patrick Mahomes is still recovering from his Super Bowl heartbreak with the Kansas City Chiefs. While it has been more than a week since they suffered a brutal 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the biggest game of the season, there’s just no denying that a loss in the Super Bowl is one tough pill to swallow.
To a certain extent, the same can be said about his wife Brittany Mahomes, who as always, came to New Orleans’ Superdome to cheer on her man. Brittany Mahomes took some time off from playing the role of a mom to a newborn baby girl (and two toddlers) to make sure that she would be able to support her husband in one of the biggest games of his career. Unfortunately for them, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes came home empty-handed and with heavy hearts.
Brittany Mahomes took to Instagram on Tuesday to provide a bit of an update on how things currently stand. The 29-year-old mom-of-three shared a photo of herself basking under the sun.

Brittany Mahomes did not reveal where she was getting her dose of Vitamin D, but it is clear from her update that she’s enjoying her time under the sun. Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are currently going through a difficult time after a major loss in the family. It was recently revealed that Patrick Mahomes’ grandfather, Randy Martin, passed away on Feb. 12 at the age of 78. While the cause of death was not revealed, Patrick Mahomes’ mom, Randi Mahomes, recently announced that her father had gone into hospice care.
