The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Los Angeles Chargers this Sunday, aiming for their 12th win of the season. After a slow start to the NFL season by Patrick Mahomes’ standards, the star quarterback has gotten into his usual form as of late. Over the last two games, he’s thrown for a combined 609 yards and five touchdowns.
Before he again takes the field at Arrowhead Stadium, his wife Brittany Mahomes, took to social media. The couple is expecting baby No. 3 after a recent announcement a few weeks ago. They had a photoshoot, and Brittany Mahomes took a collection of those pictures to pair with a three-word message for her husband. “Always loving you 🤍,” Brittany Mahomes wrote.
This season, the two-time MVP has thrown for 2,979 yards, 19 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in his quest for a third straight Super Bowl. “We have the talent, we have the coaching staff, we have the work ethic… it’s about doing that on a day-to-day basis,” Patrick Mahomes said when sharing what it takes to win a championship.
With a day-by-day and game-by-game mentality, the Chiefs will look to take another step forward against a strong Chargers defense. Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. ET, and Brittany Mahomes is expected to be in attendance as she is every Sunday.
