It seems absurd for people to dictate how someone should dress, let alone for Reese to take such criticism from strangers online to heart. Instead of deleting messages or silencing notifications, Reese decided to take a temporary break from social media. Given that her social media presence is a major source of income, it’s unlikely she’ll stay away for long. For now, her podcast “Unapologetically,” which airs every Thursday and features a variety of guests, will be her primary way to connect with fans.

Angel Reese is Featured in New Rapper’s Album Sponsor
Reese’s influence in endorsements is undeniable, especially in today’s social media-driven world. She’s now the face of Reebok sneakers, Reese’s chocolates, as well as working with Beats by Dre, Amazon, PlayStation, and more. At just 22 years old and with just one year in the WNBA, which was incredible, her impact is expected to grow exponentially. Reese now appears in a promotional video for rapper Lil Baby’s new album “Wham,” which debuted today and is already topping the Spotify and Apple Music charts. In the video, she draws parallels between her strength and dedication on the court while finishing saying “Someone who go just as hard as me as Lil Baby”.
These lucrative endorsements are why Reese probably won’t stay away from Instagram for long. The six-figure income from sponsored posts far exceeds her WNBA salary with the Chicago Sky. Angel Reese Joins Unrivaled League’s Inaugural Season
For now, what is certain is that the next time we see Reese on the court will be in the new Unrivaled league, co-founded by WNBA stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, which will feature 36 WNBA players in its inaugural season. No, Caitlin Clark will not be one of those 36. The games will be played on a shorter, full-court format with four seven-minute quarters, and the teams are already set.
