Angel Reese didn’t always make friends on the court during her time at Maryland and LSU. Whether it was her rivalry with Caitlin Clark from the 2023 NCAA championship game, or her battles in the paint with Kamilla Cardoso in the SEC, she had plenty of former enemies surrounding her on WNBA Draft night. But based on her TikTok, those relationships are now a thing of the past.

WNBA’s Barbies have new homes
Reese teamed up with No. 2 overall pick Cameron Brink for a Barbie-themed video as they showed off their stunning WNBA Draft outfits. Fittingly, the Stanford alum is headed to Barbieland to play with her new team, the Los Angeles Sparks. The Bayou Barbie, though, will need a new nickname. She is headed to the Chicago Sky, as the franchise used the No. 7 pick to select Reese, partnering her with No. 3 pick Cardoso.

Caitlin Clark makes a cameo
The first thing most fans noticed about the viral video was not anything about Reese or Brink, but the character behind them. Caitlin Clark made an awkward cameo when she got stuck in the background of the whole production backstage at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. “caitlin js chilling,” the top comment on TikTok pointed out, followed by some laughing emojis.
“Every group of three has a Caitlin,” said another. “They didn’t just eat they devoured,” another user chimed in. “Caitlin in the back is such a mood.” Whether it’s the combo of Reese and Cardoso in Chicago or the LSU legend’s new best friend who beat her our for Defensive Player of the Year, it’s clear that the NCAA days are behind them as this new crop of exciting talent prepares to take the WNBA to a new level on and off the court.
