Angel Reese Addresses Foul Trouble Criticism After Chicago Sky Win

REESE FOUL

Angel Reese had herself a night on Saturday.  The “Chi Barbie” was a major contributor in the Sky getting their first win of the WNBA season, as they defeated the Dallas Wings by a score of 84-73.  Reese played 25 minutes, and added 11 points, 9 rebounds (a whopping 7 of which were on the offensive end) and 2 assists.

And what isn’t shown on the stat sheet is the passion, grit, and energy that Reese brought to the court on Saturday, which seemed to make more of a difference for her team than anything a box score could have provided.

Although Reese did also have 4 fouls in the game.

Being in foul trouble has become a common theme for Reese during her brief WNBA tenure.  But the former LSU standout took to X after the win to address her persistent fouling issues.  “4th quarter barbieee ima stay outta fouls trouble yall but whew im so happy for this team! FIRST WNBA WIN & MORE TO COME!” Reese wrote.

While avoiding foul trouble would be ideal, Sky fans must be stoked about what they’re seeing from Reese so far this season.
