Her father, Michael Reese, doesn’t share a very close relationship with his daughter. Reese initially played with her brother Julian in the driveway as a kid and that was how she inculcated a passion for basketball. From her early years, Reese was regarded as one of the best players in the city who also played with the boys.
After high school, she decided to commit to the Maryland Terrapins and played there for two years before deciding to enroll under the Louisiana State University Lady Tigers’ head coach Kim Mulkey.
