Angel Reese seemingly confirms her romance with an NBA star

Angel Reese knows exactly how to keep fans guessing – and talking. Even though she’s made it clear she wants to keep her love life private and far from the spotlight, the Chicago Sky star isn’t exactly hiding her feelings either. From subtle hints to not-so-subtle Easter eggs, Reese has been dropping clues all over social media about who might have captured her heart.

Fans are piecing together the clues one post at a time

For months, rumors have swirled that Reese is dating an NBA player, and she’s done little to shut them down. Between her podcast Unapologetically Angel, where she’s hinted that she won’t post her boyfriend online until she gets married, and her playful comments about her “type” being NBA players, fans have had plenty to analyze.  Then came the TikTok that set the internet on fire. Reese casually mentioned that she calls Orlando home during the offseason instead of Chicago, where she plays during the WNBA season. Naturally, that sparked curiosity.

The orlando clue just made it all too real

In her latest TikTok, Reese appeared in the perfect game-day outfit for the Orlando Magic, and fans immediately began connecting the dots. The theory? Wendell Carter Jr. – and the evidence keeps stacking up. Back in July 2025, Carter was spotted wearing a shirt with Angel’s face on it during the WNBA All-Star Game, and later joked that a 2-on-2 team featuring him and Reese could easily beat power couple Bam Adebayo and A’ja Wilson. Coincidence? The internet says no.
