The 30-year-old and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, have three children: Sterling Skye, born in 2021, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, born in 2022, and Golden Raye, born January 12, 2025.

Yet Randi’s recent comments hint the story may not end there, as in a touching Instagram video posted this week, she shared family mementos, from Patrick’s early days to her grandchildren.

Among them, she revealed a unique gift crafted for each of her grandchildren by an East Texas artisan.  “These chairs were handmade by a guy from East Texas,” Randi said. “And these are one. I have three.

“And so each grandkid has one. So that means more Super Bowls and more chairs. I’m ready. More grandkids.”

The symbolic connection between her son’s championships and her three grandchildren quickly drew attention as fans speculated that another Super Bowl victory could coincide with another addition to the Mahomes household.

But when questioned earlier in 2025 about expanding his clan, Mahomes responded with restraint as he tries to balance his commitments to his wife and his family against his football career demands.

“My goal was always three,” Patrick said. “So we’ve had three.

“We’ll stick there for a while and see if we need to come back and get another one later on. I’m good with three [kids] for right now.”

The Mahomes family’s dynamic has become emblematic of stability amid sporting success. For fans in Kansas City, it represents discipline and devotion, extending the Chiefs quarterback’s legacy beyond the field.

Brittany, who is a former professional soccer player and co-owner of the Kansas City Current, continues her advocacy for women’s sports. Back in October, she joined the NWSL advisory board to promote leadership and development.

Her influence now reaches public health. Brittany recently advanced her work with Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) through the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation, focusing on education and family assistance across Kansas City.

The initiative holds personal meaning, as both Sterling and Bronze have food allergies. The Mahomes family’s commitment has provided training for restaurants and schools, expanding food safety awareness throughout Missouri.

“Our goal is to make sure families here in Kansas City have access to the resources they need,” Brittany said. “To manage food allergies confidently and safely.

“This isn’t just about awareness – it’s about being ready to act. As part of our partnership, we’re also empowering the Kansas City-area restaurants and community food banks with food allergy training through FARE.”
