‘Got to stop’ – Travis Kelce fuming with his own Kansas City Chiefs form after another major mistake

TRAVIS KELCE was left raging at himself after another costly mistake- even on a night where he made Kansas City Chiefs history.

The superstar tight end produced his best game of the season in Monday’s win over the Washington Commanders, catching six passes for 99 yards and a touchdown.

That score saw Kelce tie club legend Priest Holmes as the Chiefs’ all-time leading touchdown scorer and become just the fourth tight end in NFL history to hit 100 combined regular season and playoff touchdowns.

But the record-breaking moment wasn’t enough to stop Kelce fuming over a nightmare play in the second quarter.

On third-and-4, Patrick Mahomes fired a pass straight to an open Kelce across the middle but it slipped right through his hands, bounced up, and was picked off by Commanders linebacker Bobby Wagner.

It was deja vu for the 34-year-old, with another pass off his hands leading to an interception earlier this season against the Eagles.

Speaking on his New Heights podcast with brother Jason, Kelce didn’t hold back.

He blasted: “I’ve got to stop fing handing the God other team the ball, man. F***!.

“Everyone’s like, ‘You made up for it, you had 99 more yards.’
But that doesn’t take away from the fact I turned the ball over.”

Fortunately for the Chiefs, the Commanders couldn’t cash in on the mistake and Mahomes and co. came roaring back in the second half to seal a dominant victory.

Despite his frustration, Kelce admitted he was humbled to match Holmes’ long-standing franchise record.

He said: “That’s some pretty crazy stuff.  “Priest Holmes, that was the heart of our childhood, man. All the video games.”

Jason quickly reminded his younger brother that Holmes reached 83 scrimmage touchdowns in just four and a half seasons, while Travis needed 13 years to tie him.  Kelce could only laugh, shaking his head in disbelief.
