The retired Eagles legend made it crystal clear he’s not putting the pads back on anytime soon.

Jason Kelce had the perfect answer for an Eagles fan hoping for an NFL comeback.

With Philadelphia struggling through a rough October – and longtime pass rusher Za’Darius Smith announcing his retirement – rumors started swirling about a possible unretirement from defensive lineman Brandon Graham. That sparked one hopeful fan to shoot their shot at getting another Eagles great back on the field.

“Yo @JasonKelce u busy?” the fan asked on X (formerly Twitter), tagging the retired center.

Kelce’s response? “Very.”

That single word ended any speculation about a potential comeback. While some fans may still be clinging to hope, the beloved Eagles center has clearly moved on from his playing days – and filled his schedule to the brim.

Jason has his schedule packed
Since hanging up his cleats, Kelce has become one of the NFL’s most visible personalities, co-hosting the New Heights podcast with his brother Travis, joining ESPN as an analyst, and now hosting his own late-night show.

Between those gigs and frequent appearances across sports and entertainment media, it’s safe to say Kelce is, indeed, “very” busy.

Still, his love for the game hasn’t faded. During the Eagles’ Week 7 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings, Kelce live-posted his reactions to several plays – showing support for both his former quarterbacks, Jalen Hurts and Carson Wentz.

“Let’s f**ing gooo!! Good protection, great job improvising and being on the same page,” he wrote in one post. In another, he joked about Wentz’s scrambling ability: “Carson unfortunately had to do that a lot for me… he’s always been good at hopping on those.”

Jason doesn’t lose sight of Travis

Kelce also tuned in to the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Raiders to cheer on his brother Travis, giving fans a glimpse of the same competitive fire that made him a Philadelphia icon.

For now, the Eagles will have to push through their slump without him. But if there’s one thing Kelce made clear this week, it’s that his days snapping the ball are over – and his new life in front of the camera is keeping him plenty busy.  The retired Eagles legend made it crystal clear he’s not putting the pads back on anytime soon.
