Chicago Sky Turn Heads With Angel Reese Announcement

Angel Reese’s stardom continues to rise in her second season with the Chicago Sky. The WNBA forward entered the league with an established name and has continued to be recognized as one of the biggest stars in the league. In her second season, the Sky have struggled, despite improvements from Reese, especially on the offensive end. Reese has shown a deeper bag on the offensive end with her playmaking and even some three-point shooting.
On Tuesday, Reese and the Sky played against the Washington Mystics. While they suffered a 79-72 loss to Washington, Reese received good news after the game. Reese was announced as the “Player of the Game” by the Chicago Sky after their loss to the Mystics, bumping them down to 3-8 on the season.
“ANOTHA ONE,” posted the official social media account of the Chicago Sky.

Angel Reese finished the game against the Washington Mystics with 17 points, 10 rebounds and five assists – yet another double-double for one of the most talented rebounders in the WNBA. Fans seem hyped for Angel Reese’s success, with many taking to social media after the Chicago Sky announced her as “Player of the Game.”
“ALL STAR,” said one fan.
“Giver her the MVP already!!” said another fan.
“She needs a PG,” mentioned one fan.

“That’s on period!!!” said one fan.
“Angel haters been real quiet,” said another fan.
In her rookie season with the Chicago Sky, Angel Reese has posted 10.4 points, 11.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. On the defensive end, Reese has also added 1.7 steals and 0.4 blocks per game. The two-way star has taken a step forward in her rookie season. She may not have matched the stat line from year one, where she posted 13.1 points and 13.6 rebounds, but a clear improvement in terms of offensive ability has been put on display. However, the Chicago Sky have now lost four of their last five games.
