Brittany Mahomes is still processing the Kansas City Chiefs’ stunning loss in Super Bowl 2025 — and she’s taking comfort in the support from at least one friend. On her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Feb. 11, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes shared a post from pediatric sleep consultant Jenna Artis, who penned a lengthy tribute to the mother of three and Patrick.
“Not only is Patrick a standout football player, changing the game with his talent and integrity both on and off the field, but he’s also redefining what fatherhood looks like — even with a full plate,” Artis, a Kansas City-based nurse, began.
Artis continued her appraisal of Brittany, calling the KC Current co-owner “the glue.” “The way you juggle it all with grace, little sleep, selflessness, and love is truly inspiring,” Artis wrote. “You’re an amazing mom (like truly Inspired how you do it all), a wonderful human and a friend anyone would be lucky to have.”
The registered nurse also shared how impressed she has been with the signal-caller’s interest in the minutiae of being a dad. Artis’ kind words came alongside a screen shot from the NFL star’s social media post on Sunday in which he apologized to fans for his performance in the game.
“Appreciate all the love and support from #ChiefsKingdom,” wrote Mahomes, 29. “I let y’all down today. I’ll always continue to work and try and learn and be better for it.” He added, “We will be back.” All of which had Brittany emotional in her Instagram Stories post. “Crying,” she wrote, adding two crying emojis for emphasis.
