Revenge is a dish best served cold… and if it’s on the Super Bowl stage, even better. Just ask Kansas City Chiefs iconic tight end Travis Kelce ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole, who was loving every minute of Super Bowl LIX played at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The game was a total beat down courtesy of the spectacular Philadelphia Eagles, who played an outstanding game on both sides of the field and showed the whole world that they were ready to avenge the hurtful loss they experienced during Super Bowl LVII, when the Chiefs beat the Eagles 38-35 in a spectacular match.
This time things were different as the team coached by Nick Sirianni put on a defensive show that destroyed Patrick Mahomes’ ability to be a game changer and display his skills and talent to take the Chiefs to the promised land. The final score was 40-22.
Kayla Nicole’s sweet revenge in the Super Bowl
Kayla Nicole was in attendance for Super Bowl LIX and she sure was rooting for quarterback Jalen Hurts, superstar running back Saquon Barkley, wide receiver A.J. Brown and the rest of the very powerful Philadelphia Eagles. Nicole posted a couple of Instagram stories with the Eagles fans, who were excited to see their team dominate the then defending Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs.
During the game, the TV cameras showed a frustrated Travis Kelce, who couldn’t bear the fact that he was not a factor at all and couldn’t do anything to prevent his team from getting beat. Kelce finished with four receptions for 39 yards and zero touchdowns. It was a terrible game for who’s considered one of the best tight ends in NFL’s history.
As if that was not enough for Kelce, his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, did not have a much better Super Bowl LIX, even if she’s not a football player. The global music superstar got a massive boo from the fans at Caesars Superdome and she looked shocked and in quite a disbelief of the hate she received from the majority of the people in attendance.
The Chiefs’ defeat could be even more hurtful for Kelce as he hasn’t made up his mind about whether or not he’ll play in 2025. It is, in fact, possible that Super Bowl LIX on Sunday was the final game of Travis’ 12-year professional career.
Nicole is a star in sports broadcasting
Kayla Nicole is a well-respected sports broadcaster and host of I Am Athlete Daily on Revolt TV, so she wasn’t at Super Bowl LIX to stir up drama-she was there to work.
That didn’t stop social media from raising eyebrows when she was spotted interviewing Deion Sanders and his son, Shedeur, an NFL Draft hopeful during NFL Honors. As if interviewing “Coach Prime” wasn’t headline-worthy enough, fans couldn’t help but analyze her interactions with the Hall of Famer.
But let’s be clear: Kayla Nicole isn’t just some ex riding the media wave. She’s a seasoned journalist with a degree from Pepperdine, a growing media career, and plenty of football knowledge to back it up. When asked who she’s picking to win the Super Bowl, she didn’t hesitate.
“I think Patrick Mahomes is going to seal the deal,” she told People Magazine. “The guy knows what he’s doing, and I would bet the Chiefs take this.” It’s fair to say that Nicole was way off on her prediction, as many who thought Kansas City was going to be the first team in NFL’s history to win three Super Bowls in a row.
