Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was rushed to hospital from prison late at night. It’s understood that the rapper, who is awaiting trial, was temporarily removed from the infamous Metropolitan Detention Center P Diddy has been rushed to hospital after being taken out of his jail cell in the middle of the night.

Sources confirmed that the rapper, who is currently awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, was transported to a local hospital around 10pm on Thursday (January 30), the New York Post reports. The 55-year-old, whose real name is Sean Combs, is thought to have undergone an MRI because his “knee was bothering him.”

He was temporarily removed from the infamous Metropolitan Detention Center to Brooklyn Hospital for the authorised scan late at night to ‘avoid whispers from fellow inmates or prison staff, the insider claimed. Combs was transported back to the prison after the non-invasive medical treatment had finished. A Bureau of Prisons spokesperson told The Post: “For privacy, safety, and security reasons we do not comment on the conditions of confinement for anyone in our custody to include medical status or medical trips.”

The rapper is at the centre of more than 20 civil lawsuits filed for sexual assault, harassment as well as sex trafficking. Combs has been denied bail three times and will remain in jail until his criminal trial; which is set to start on May 5. It is believed that he could face life in prison if he is found guilty of the charges brought against him.

This is just the latest story to come out of Combs experience in prison, which he reportedly spends most of his time being ‘bored’. It was only over Christmas where he allegedly had a ‘meltdown’ because he was spending the festive season behind bars.

According to The Sun, Combs had pleaded with guards to be taken to a prison hospital for observation on Boxing Day (December 26). Combs was supposedly convinced that he was having a ‘breakdown’ and demanded attention from medical professionals. Though, his request was denied by guards.
